TMZ [among many others] is reporting this morning that Kim Kardashian will be filing for divorce from Kris Humphries after only 72 days of marriage. What the what??? 72 days is barely long enough to get all your stuff in the same house, have your first arguement or finish your thank you notes!

I smell a rat.

It was curious that they got married so quickly, but it seems to be the Kardashian way, so I didn't really question it. They seemed to be in love! And yeah, her family didn't totally adore him but it kind of seemed to me that they just didn't understand his sense of humor. On that note, Kris, I totally get your sense of humor, would totally let those adorable puppies sleep in my bed and would totally say yes to a $20million dollar ring. Jus sayin'.

Reports of a split have been swirling for a few weeks now, but Ryan Seacrest confirmed the news this morning when he tweeted:

Hope everyone had a great weekend! I was clearly lacking on the blog front last week, so I'm going to try to do better this week. Let's start off our week with the best Halloweeny tune that has ever existed.

Speaking of Kelly Clarkson....

Homegirl covered a Carrie Underwood song that is, in my opinion, the best song Carrie has ever put out. The original is phenomenal, but in Kelly's hands the song is absolutely SLAYED. This cover should've been on her new album and THIS is the kind of material that she needs to be singing.

Speaking of New Music....

There was a slew of new Christmas music released today. One such song was a Justin Beiber/ Usher cover of "The Christmas Song". You may have seen Justin's music video that he filmed in Franklin, TN last week. I didn't exactly love that song, mostly because he used the word "Shawty" so much. Ga-ross. I happen to really like this cover and it makes me think [*gasp*] that I should possibly give the Beibs Christmas album a chance.

The Proof Is In The Pudding

People in the blogosphere have been speculating for weeks as to whether or not Jessica Simpson is pregnant. My first thought was, "who cares?" I mean, I think Jessica Simpson is kind of adorable, but I am not living and breathing based on whether or not she is preggers. That being said, I am now blogging about it [you win celeb focused media!]. She accidentally forgot to cover up her belly the other day and, if I do say so myself, THAT is a baby bump. An adorable little baby bump. I predict there will be the shape of a 6 inch tall wedge sticking out of her belly in a few short months.

New Music Monday

Get Excited guys- lots of new music this week. Today's releases include Coldplay's "Mylo Xyloto" and Kelly Clarksons "Stronger". I am very cautious of the new Coldplay, but already downloaded Miss Clarkson's album. As of right now, I don't totally love it. I usually don't need multiple listens to love KC, but we'll see. Full album [out of order] is below. Give me your thoughts!

Obsession of the Day

OMG. I love it when you guys give me tips on things to read/watch/see/hear/smell, etc, etc, etc. Thanks to a reader tip from Kissing Mules, my obsession of the day is Suri's Burbook, which is essentially a tumblr that is dedicated to Suri Cruise making fun of other celeb babies. It's delightful.
