Child, We KNEW This

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon announced on the Today show this morning that she is pregnant. Anyone surprised? Not here. Honeychild, when you wear clothes that tight, shit will show! And she needs to go on with those big ole boobies. You're a mommy now. The girls should only come out to play on special occasions.

Don't you love that Mariah is sitting as far away from Billy Bush as she can possibly get? Frankly, I don't blame her at all. That guy is a TOTAL goober. A few things that Billy Bush should never do: 1) say "Yo" 2) mimic Mariah's childlike clapping style 3)interview celebrities.
Can you even imagine how much of a diva Mariah will be while pregnant? Bring it sista, this girl needs something to read about!

Congratulations are definitely in order for Mariah and Nick [they read this blog you know], and I look forward to the delivery of their baby, but can we PLEASE talk about something more important like this new Christmas album???

The album cover is a little.......off, HOWEVER, the cd is straight on point ["Oh Little Town of Bethlehem"? Go'on girl! That song gave me cold chills all ova my body]. The cd officially comes out this coming Tuesday, November 2nd, and you should definitely PAY for it [but its on the interwebs now if you really need Christmas in October].

How Did I Miss This?

I love John Stewart. And I still don't hate Barack Obama. You can continue to send me emails about the need to see his birth certificate, the need to impeach him, and the fact that he's a radical Muslim. Go ahead! Send away. I'll just keep deleting them.

Weeeeee!!!

Weird

My Tuesday morning music shuffle has been a bit strange thus far, but I felt as though I'd share anyway. Sorry I missed Music Monday yesterday. Lets try to make up for it today. Here we go.

NOTE: I'm going to be pissed as hell if I like this new Taylor Swift record, but she totally got me with "Dear John". I downloaded it just because I was so curious about it, and its actually really good. Not one single mention of fairytales, high school football games or princess dresses. Well done, Taylor.

They Made WHAT?

Japan has gone and done it now. Over the weekend, they introduced the worlds first Robot Pop Star at the Digital Content Expo in Tokyo. World's first? Are they sure about that? Pretty sure I've seen a few robot pop stars in my day, but maybe I'M the one who's crazy.

File this under: No.

Music Monday Continues.....

So one of my favorite female artists, Brooke Fraser, put out a new album last week called Flags. It took me a handful of listens to really get into it, but I'm totally loving it now. Check out a few of my favorites below and if you love it, make sure to give her last album Albertine a listen. It's my fave.

Oh, and Nashville peeps, Brooke will be at the Belcourt Theatre on November 14th, so get your tickets now!

Are We Sure This Is Bug Spray?

I recently attended an event where I received a fabulous "gift bag" in exchange for my VIP ticket. While rummaging through the fabulous bag [thanks CAA], I came across a bottle of bug spray that looked a bit like this:

Please take note of the name- Cutter Skinsations. Um, are we sure this is bug spray. It seems more likely that it's a product made for emo kids who have a better time expressing themselves with razors than with words. It must be some kind of underground spray to make the cuts hurt just a little bit more.

I mean, seriously. Absolutely NO ONE found this title to be a bit alarming before it went into production? Meh, well. I hope it works.

Oh Beibs

The glasses and scarf do nothing to make you look less like a young lesbian. Someone help this child.

Get It Nashville

MUSIC MONDAY

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Mine was filled with weddings and music, and I'm not too mad about it. I feel like I might be repeating some songs here recently, so if I am, please forgive me, but know that they are being repeated because I just CAN'T STOP LISTENING. :)

Bigger is......Better?

Holy cow, Taco Bell. Holy cow. I won't lie, from time to time I enjoy your delicious concoctions [usually around 3 am on my way home from Red Door], but this might be a bit ridiculous for even me.

Taco Bell recently introduced their XXL Chalupa that is, based on the pictures below, as big as a hand. With 650 Calories, 39 grams of fat, and 1300 mg of sodium, you could either live off of this one meal alone for days, or die on the spot. That's a fun risk to take.

I personally think this is a call for the other fast food chains to step up their unhealthiness. KFC is the only other chain I can think of off the top of my head that serves their meals in boxes [we're not talking Big Mac boxes here folks- those are for amateurs] and, frankly, ever since they started offering the DoubleDown in a GRILLED version, I've lost a little respect for their stance on unhealthiness.

It's upsetting to me that I can't decide whether the pictures below are making me hungry or making me want to vomit.

Her Blood Type Really IS Pinot Grigio

Ramona Singer, everyone's [least] favorite New York Housewife, is coming out with her own wine label. Que interesante! When I first heard about it, I made a joke that it would all be Pinot Grigio and no other varieties would be offered [for you non-Housewife watchers, Ramona is almost always drinking Pinot Grigio and she is almost always trashed off her ass]. HAHAHA, I"m so funny and, in this case, RIGHT, because her wine label IS only Pinot Grigio and in fact is called Ramona Singer Pinot Grigio. Oh boy. I can't wait to hear more about this on the next season. I bet Jill is fuming.

Ramona SInger of The Real Housewives of New York City to launch her own Pinot Grigio wine label.

According to inside sources, the wine is being produced in the Veneto region of Italy and will be part of Opici Wines. With 50 brands in its portfolio from such countries as France, Chile, Italy, Spain, South Africa and the United States, Opici Wines is an experienced and highly reputable player in the wine business.Ramona Singer Pinot Grigio will hit retail shelves in January 2011 will be priced at approximately $14.99. It will be represented nationally through Opici's distributor network covering close to 50 states.

Katy Perry is a Lucky Lady

Not gonna lie- I wouldn't say no to Russel Brand, especially now that he seems to have his act together. He's charming, funny, and I can't understand half of what he says because of that adorable accent. *Swoon*. Even though this marriage will probably end in divorce [I'm hoping for an annulment to make things interesting!], its cute that he's so excited to get married.

I Still Love SNL

All you haters can suck it. SNL might not be as great as it used to be, but it still makes me giggle and that's all that matters. Thanks to Nuni for giving me the heads up on this skit below. It might have been the bushwhackers that I was drinking, but I thought it was pretty hilarious.
