What I'm Listening to Now.....

Music Monday

I heard this song on the radio this morning on the way to work and, I have to say, I really needed it. It's like it was playing just for me. I had some disappointing news right upon waking this morning and it happened to land on top of a really hard week, so I needed some encouragement! Hopefully, it will help your day as well.

Also, I just have to ask- am I the only one that thinks that the Lumineers are overrated? I mean, I do like them, but I just don't think that they quite live up to the hype. Agree or disagree in the comments below.

Dear Readers

Mark February 5th on your calendars because I promise you, when that day comes, you NEED to buy this album.

You may know Holly Williams as daughter of Hank Williams Jr or granddaughter of Hank Williams or, if you live in Nashville, you may even know her as own of the completely amazing [and sadly out of my price range] boutique H.Audrey.

Now, please get to know her as the amazing singer/songwriter that she is.

Hu-Hu-Hump Day!

I'm just going to keep posting randomness until someone asks me to stop.

Love, love, love the last band I posted, but after listening to it for 3 hours straight I needed something a little bit more up beat.........The Wild Feathers to the rescue!!

What I'm Listening To Now

My current obsession is this fantastic little group from Brooklyn. They just debuted their first self titled release yesterday, and it's currently only $7.99 on iTunes. What a Steal!

Check them out below and leave your comments in tha box!

MUSIC MONDAY

Does everyone remember that one time in 2012 when everyone thought the world was going to end? So Silly! And then when it didn't end, everyone decided that it was actually just a new calendar period for the Mayans, so instead of an ending it was more like a beginning?

Well, it must have been one HELLUVA new beginning, because it made Justin Timberlake make music again. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!

Last week he put out this video that kind of made it seem like his music would be the second coming of Christ. A pinch narcissistic, but I ain't mad.

Then last night right after the Emmys, his new song featuring Jay-Z hit the interwebs. Check it out below! It's definitely no "Sexy Back" but its still goooooood. Can't wait to hear more!
